‘SOLUTION FOUND’

All about barriers and experimental solutions and where to find them. The teaching and research project DEIN*ORT at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, showed in this exhibition photo contributions and solution approaches by pupils from the Leibniz-Gymnasium and children from the HoKiDo daycare in Dortmund. The exhibition builds on the first real-world laboratory ‘Hidden Barriers’ and now, in the second part of the ‘DEIN*ORT LAB11″, presents concrete solutions for barriers. The project involves students from the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the University of Malmö, architects, and city workers from Copenhagen as well as committed citizens, children and young people from Dortmund’s urban society in Dortmund. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and supported by the scientific partners of the project DEIN*ORT project.

The project is being realised by a dedicated team under the direction of F. Asche (concept, realisation, curation), MB. Jallow (coding) and J. Schneider (transcription),supported by the wood workshop of the Department of Architecture at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
