They make it difficult to do the things you want to do. Different people experience these obstacles differently. For example, because of their age or culture. Barriers can include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No lift in the building<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Darkness and fear<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not speaking your own language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In this project, we look at the barriers that people encounter in public spaces. We considered\u00a0<strong>who needs to be involved<\/strong>\u00a0in order to learn how meeting places can be well designed. We also considered\u00a0<strong>who the experts in science and practice are<\/strong>. Then we adapted the methods. The experts were able to\u00a0<strong>contribute their experiences<\/strong>.
